SKOL donates health insurance to vulnerable families
Local brewer, SKOL Brewery Ltd, has donated health insurance known as Mutuelle de Santé coverage for 842 cititizens in the Nzove cell of Kanyinya sector on Wednesday, November 1.
The ceremony was attended by the leaders of the local authorities and the new CEO of SKOL Brewery Ltd, Eric Gilson and the residents of this Cell.
Musabyimana Olivier, one of the residents who received health insurance, says that what SKOL does for them is unmatched.
“Having health insurance ensures the safety and financial security of my family when we face health-related challenges.” Musabyimana said.
“The fact that SKOL works in our Nzove Cell is of great value because it cares for us.” Uwakiriyimfura Emmanuel from Nzove.
For over five years, SKOL Brewery has consistently supported the community, benefiting more than 3,350 individuals.
Eric Gilson, Director General of SKOL, said that the main goal is to continue doing activities that involve cooperation with the people of Nzove.
He said,”SKOL Brewery Ltd is not merely a profit-driven enterprise; we recognise that a healthy society is the cornerstone of economic growth, enabling individuals to provide for their families and contribute to the nation’s development.”
“Our objective is to support the vulnerable citizens so that they can have a healthy life and in future become part of a health clientele for the brewery” Gilson said
The SKOL company is often seen in various activities to help the Rwandan community, including joining them in the public community, providing the government with basic assistance for disaster victims, and more.
