Rayon slaps Police FC to grab the 4th seat
Rayon Sports has beaten Police FC 2-1 in the Rwanda’s Primus National League which took place on November 28 at Kigali Pelé Stadium.
The match had been postponed on its official day because Rayon Sports was playing the confederation games.
At the 9th minute of the game, Rayon scored the first goal. The goal scored by Musa Essenu from the assist of Hakim Bugingo.
Unprecedentedly, at the 32nd minute, the match was paused due to heavy rain at the stadium. The match resumed after 52 minutes when it had stopped raining.
At 89th minute of the second, Hertier Luvumbu Nzinga scored the second goal for Rayon which brought fans to stand to their knees and assured the hopes of bagging three points on their side.
It reached in the extra minutes for Abedi Bigirimama to score the goal for Police side, although that could make no difference.
So far on the table, Rayon Sport seats at the 4th place with 20 points.
