Messi’s jersey worn in the World Cup to be auctioned
The jersey worn by footballer, Lionel Messi during the FIFA World Cup in Qatar and which Argentina ended champion is going to be sold at an auction in New Yolk city .
It is said that the money that will be generated from it, will be allocated to people living in poverty through Messi’s Foundation.
The jersey could fetch more $11 million, equivalent to Rwf 12 billions, according to reports.

Reports reveal that the Sotheby’s, an auction company, has already announced that it won the tender to sell 6 jersey worn by the eight Balloon d’Or winner from Rosario, Argentina.
Messi also wore the jersey in the first half of the final, semi-final games as well as in the quarter final gane.
The submission of the bids is slated from November 30 to December 14 in New York.
