Hip hop superstar Kendrick Lamar to perform in Rwanda

The hip-hop legend, known for his smash hits _Humble, Alright, Money Trees and Die Hard, is expected to perform at the BK Arena in December, 6 2023.

This rapper will participate in the show called “Move Afrika: Rwanda” which is being organized by Global Citizen in collaboration with the PGLang company founded by Kendrick Lamar, in collaboration with Dave Free.

According to RWANDA SUN sources, these companies have signed a five-year contract to organize events around Africa called “Move Afrika: A Global Citizen Experience”.

The artist known and loved for his thought-provoking lines and melodies that declutter complicated experiences from freedom to pride and authenticity, has largely been seated with the legends of lyricism.

Kendrick Lamar Duckworth was born on June 17, 1987. Lamar is an American rapper, singer, record producer, and songwriter. His debut in 2012, “Good Kid, M.A.A.D City,” earned him mainstream popularity.

Lamar’s one of the most influential rappers of his generation. Lamar is also part of a hip-hop supergroup ― Black Hippy.

Lamar’s wins include 19 B.E.T. HipHop Awards, 13 Grammy Awards, 11 M.T.V. Video Music Awards, seven B.E.T. Awards, six Billboard Music Awards, two American Music Awards, a Brit Award, and a Pulitzer Prize.
