EPL: Chelsea managed to draw against Manchester City in dramatic game
Chelsea FC and Manchester City FC drew 4-4 in dramatic match of matchday 12 in the English Premier League.
On Sunday, at 18:30 at the Stamford Bridge Stadium, Chelsea hosted Manchester City in a match that was pleasing to the eye.
At the start of the game, Chelsea were in a good mood because they were passing the ball so well that they show didn’t have any problems.
In the 4th minute Rahim Sterling sent a good ball to Marc Cucurella but Phil Foden saved and put the ball in the corner.
In the 8th minute, Manchester City also came under fire in front of the goal with players like Doku and Phil Foden trying to find a way to score but Chelsea’s Enzo Fernández came to the rescue.
At the 24th minute, Erling Haaland was given a penalty after Marc Cucurella pulled him in the box, he immediately shot it into the net for Manchester City’s 1st goal.
After losing the goal, Chelsea started looking for ways to compensate by playing hard and in the 28th minute, Thiago Silva scored from a corner kick by Col Palmer.
Chelsea then scored the 2nd goal in the 37th minute through Rahim Sterling who was assisted by Reece James.
At the end of the first half, Manchester City equalized Emmanuel Akanji’s goal with a header from Bernardo Silva’s cross.
In the second half of the game Manchester City got the 3rd goal scored by Erling Haaland. Chelsea continued to play without giving up and in the 69th it equalizes with a goal scored by Nicolas Jackson.
Manchester City continued to play better than Chelsea’s passing and got in front of the defense but they couldn’t find a way to shoot.
In the 87th minute, Manchester City scored the 4th goal through Rodrigo’s strong kick out side the box and Thiago Silva put his foot to ball and reflect to the net.
After 3 minutes, Chelsea got a penalty for a foul by Ruben Diaz on Armando Broja in the penalty area and Cole Palmer shot it into the net for the 4th goal.
The match ends with both teams tied 4-4.
