APR FC beats Sunrise and ousts Musanze FC from the first seat
APR FC has replaced Musanze FC on the first seat after defeating Sunrise FC, 1-0, in the Rwanda’s Primus National League match that took place on Wednesday, November 29 at Nyagatare stadium.
The game had been postponed when APR was playing to qualify for the CAF Champions League.
Nicknamed “Gitinyiro”, APR went to Nyagatare aiming to drop Musanze that has been enjoying the front seat.
Nonetheless, APR FC was under pressure given that they had drawn against AS Kigali lastly, and the fact that Sunrise could use the home advantage and the motivation drawn from the last draw against Kiyovu sports.
