Nufashwa Yafasha launches holiday coaching camp ahead of new school year

GATSIBO — Nufashwa Yafasha School, under the Nufashwa Yafasha Organization (NYO), has launched a Summer Coaching Camp to help children remain engaged in learning and prepare for the 2026/2027 academic year.

The holiday learning programme, which began on July 20 and will run until September, takes place from Monday to Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m., offering academic support and creative activities to learners.

Jean Paul BUJYACYERA, Founder and Director of Nufashwa Yafasha Organization, said the programme aims to improve academic performance while helping children develop creativity, teamwork, and confidence during the school break.

The programme includes revision sessions in literacy, writing, Mathematics, Kinyarwanda, and English, alongside activities such as educational games, puzzles, group discussions, storytelling, and creative arts.

Learners requiring additional support will receive remedial lessons, while community walks will introduce them to local history, nature, and important landmarks in their communities.

Bujyacyera said the coaching camp reflects the school’s commitment to ensuring children continue learning in a safe and supportive environment during holidays.

School Growth and Rising Demand for Early Education

The launch of the Summer Coaching Camp follows a successful academic year for the school, which continues to provide early childhood education in Gatsibo District.
